I purchased these shoes for everyday support and treads for my working environment. They are very comfortable once your feet get used to the thicker sole. They are great shoes and will continue to buy this brand. The only cons I have with them is the drawstring. Where the rubber covers the mating part of the string never stays there it will shift off the first couple times you put them on. Also after wearing them for a few weeks the extra tongue support is a bit weird on my foot so next time I will be looking for a pair that doesn't have that. That is just my personal preference.
I've worn Salomons for years and years. Out and about, hiking, backpacking, at the range. I've loved every pair of XAs, Speedcross and Forces I've had. However these fit much narrower than their other shoes. I'm sure it's a great shoe just doesn't stack up to the rest of their lineup to me.
I bought these 11-30-17. I wore them every day for 5 months and the tread is almost entirely gone on the forefoot. The top still looks pretty good and I bet I’d get another 6 months out of them if they had a vibram sole. Otherwise- excellent comfort and I loved the quick lace!
I have a bunch of salomon x and xr mission shoes, most comfy shoe I’ve ever found. I was super excited about these because they looked like packers colors online, but looked nothing like that when I received them. I returned the shoes, but highly recommend this line to anyone with wide feet, especially if you have issues with rolling your ankles. They are very stable.
I have 3 other pairs of Salomon shoes in the same size that have been favorites for years. These are definitely about a size and a half smaller than every other pair that I have bought. I tried to make em work, but these will be the first pair of Salomons that I have ever returned
I'm on my feet all day with an active job and prefer breathable Trail Runners for shoes. Light, tough, comfortable & a low key color scheme, these are exactly what I want. Combined with Superfeet insoles, I find them great for summer backpacking in the Sierras.
Nice looking and comfy around town but far from trail worthy. They have absolutely no stability on variable terrain and deform around every rock. Stick to the road unless you want to roll your ankles.
Love these, hiked most of the AT (Franklin, NC - Mt. Katahdin) and my feet were great! No blisters, or rubbing... I’d get a good 350-400 hiking miles per pair.
Comfy, fit well, the sizing is accurate, and it was my first experience with these type of laces and so far I'm liking them a lot.
I've had these for 7 months, wear them constantly, love them, buying another exact pair soon.
I use these as light hiking shoes, not for trail running. They work well for this.
For some reason these seem small compared to other 11.5 Salomons I own.
Great shoe, very good fit and comfortable. Lite weight for traveling.
These shoes fit well, comfortable, and great value....I recommend it.
My favorite shoes I wear them anytime I go hiking.
