I don’t write reviews but disappointed in Garmin. Have really enjoyed this watch for just over 2.5 years. Recently its been resetting and not keeping the time correctly. Have been a strong believer in Garmin but have to question the support. For the cost of the watch it should last longer, Garmin wants more $$ now to replace and does not offer a discount towards an upgraded version. Very nice watch but support not impressed with unfortunately. Garmin should stand behind their products
I am on my 3rd Garmin from REI. First one died within @ 9 months. Second one died within three months. REI policies for returns keep changing - luckily I am always within the window. I keep my Garmin charged and do updates- not sure why I am having meltdowns! I do love thedevice and Connect App/ and enjoy syncing it with Strava when I do solo rural bike rides to share with my husband!
This watch is perfectly functional and does everything I would want in a Tri-training watch. However, I was also looking for something that I could wear as a daily driver in an office type setting. I only purchased the black rubber band, but did not feel that the combo was something that I could "dress up" enough to be a daily. I am tall and skinny, but it still has a smaller face than I like. Further, the plastic casing gave me pause to have it on at all times.
