The North Face - Ultra 110 GTX Trail-Running Shoes - Women's

Category: Women's Running Shoes

I don't notice my feet anymore. Stable and comfortable. They have a nice arch too.

I Bought these right after I purchased a pair of Altras for the TRT thinking there might be some snow and wet weather still.

These initially were great. Wore them around the house for a week to make sure I really liked them. Finally wore them for the trip I bought them for and after a couple days they started making this SUPER annoying popping sound when I walk. From what I can tell it's coming from the toe box area. Stopped into my local REI last week and they wonder if it's a defect as they agreed the fit seemed right (I initially thought they could be too big, as I ordered a 1/2 size up). Just looked and am a few weeks past the 90 day return policy which is a bummer, because I hardly wear these now.

Good trail running shoe - no break in period, comfortable and sturdy. The only minor complaint I have is that this shoe is more boxy and squatty looking than the prior North Face version.

I purchased these for a trip to Alaska. It rained or drizzled almost every day. I was prepared and stayed dry with these shoes. They also have a great non slip tread.

Went hiking that weekend and had no issues at all, easy to break-in

I have lost count of how many pairs of these shoes I have owned. Each pair lasts me about two summers of hiking. They are sturdy, waterproof, and comfortable. I can hike all day on any trail and have no foot discomfort at the end of the day. I can't say that for any other hiking shoes I have owned. I will continue to buy them as long as North Face continues to make them.

Required almost no breaking in, stayed strong and comfortable after so many miles of hiking through Grand Teton National Park. Great traction on a variety of surfaces, ranging from creek rocks to steep trails. Easy to get on and off, but they feel very secure on my feet.

I bought these shoes for a week trip to Ireland. They broke in quickly. There was not any heel slippage and plenty of toe wiggle room. They held up great in the rain and had great grip on rocks, trails and in walking around narrow passage ways in castles.

I was looking for a very supportive shoe to help with my most recent flare up of plantar fasciitis. My heel is much improved after three weeks in this shoe.

Disappointed today when I received the shoes as they are 1/2 size too small. I read the reviews which said the shoe is true to size--regrettably it is not. I will hope that they have an 8.5 and are willing to make an even exchange.

I purchased these to be able to walk my dog as well as to take her to the dog park when it's wet. They are water resistant but after a while, the bottom of my feet hurt so I would not suggest for long hikes.

I purchased these trail running shoes for the trails and every day use, you can't go wrong with the color scheme, quality, or fit.

I am on my feet a lot at work with a lot of walking involved and these shoes have been very comfortable!

I wear these shoes on a regular basis and hiking, they are extremely comfortable and great for all activities except for when it is raining. I wore these shoes on a bike packing trip and water dripped into the shoes through the top mesh after about 30 minutes and my feet were soaked for the last 10 miles of the ride. These shoes are not waterproof.

These are my first pair of trail running shoes, and they've been great. I maybe should have gotten an 8.5 but went with a 9. Very waterproof! I've been very impressed! They're a little stiff on the heel when you hike downhill, but overall good. I wear a size 8 in chaco's and 9 in Brooks.

I had purchased Keens in the past for hiking boots but they never felt comfortable so I decided to give trail running shoes a go and they work perfect. They were good to go right out of the box. These were my first North Face but not my last.

No breaking in this shoe. Comfortable for hours from the first time I put it on.

Bought for a trip to South Africa. Used for walking on uneven terrain and paths. Not used for climbing on paths. Great stability and traction!

So far, so good. I am still breaking them in. Maybe the laces are a little short.

I’ve had these shoes for over a year and wanted to share my experience after hiking in many different conditions. Over the years I’ve bought several hiking shoes at REI and ended up returning them after one or two uses because every single one has either caused blisters or were painful in other ways. My hikes average four to five miles with over 1,000 ft. of elevation gain. I’ve tried these out in Chilean Patagonia during early spring, jungle and beach hikes in Hawaii (Big Island and Kauai), all seasons in the PNW, and the dusty trails of Sedona, Arizona. They have been the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had and they have never come close to causing a blister or any kind of pain whatsoever. These things are indescribable and hold up in mud, salt and fresh water, and perform well on all kinds of terrain. The only time I’ve experienced an issue was my last jungle hike in Kauai crossing a river on slippery rocks, but I honestly don’t think any shoe out there could withstand that (many people were taking their shoes off for better traction and still slipping around).

Extremely comfortable. Great hiking shoe! Love them.
