REI Co-op - Hammock Underquilt

Used this for the first time in colder temps. First night got down to 40°, and I was nice and toasty. Second night got down to 33°, and I was chilly. Just cold enough that I woke up several times. I was in a down bag (EN 20° comfort rated) and thin polypro base layer.

Positive: Fit like a glove my quarter dome hammock Negative: Did warm up the backside, but not much. Kept the night from being very uncomfortable, but still had some cold spots.

I’ve only had the chance to use the underquilt once, but I’m 100% satisfied with it. Fit and finish is excellent.

I wish it was a bit longer and a bit wider as an underquilt, but I just used this as a blanket while camping and it exceeded my expectations. Bundled up in medium weight clothing, and sleeping on top of a down quilt, all I had on top of me in 27 degree weather was this underquilt and I was toasty warm all night.

I am a Florida boy , I get cold easily , with that being said I used this underquilt with my Quarter Dome Air Hammock , love the fit and ease of set up . temps in the mid to low 40s using a Klymit Static V Luxe pad and this underquilt , I got cold from the bottom. I had to add a blanket under me , once i did so i was fine
