I brought this along on our 3 night backpacking trip as an alternative to packing a sleeping bag since it only weighs a pound. In anticipation I also packed some long johns for extra warmth... Turned out I never used them. This blanket kept me nice and warm without the restriction of a sleeping bag. I was sprawled out on my sleeping pad and slept real well. I believe the temperature at night where we were at was in the mid 40's to mid 50's. This thing is definitely a great summer backpacking.
My first Rumpl has been adopted by my dog and I am amazed how well it has taken a 70# dog jumping, rolling, sleeping and playing on it. No tears or holes and it does not retain odors, even wet dog! I had to buy another one for myself! My Rumpls have traveled across the county with me, slept in various hotels, campgrounds, hammocks, truck beds, floors and in grass and dirt and I plan to have them for many more trips and adventures! Warm, compressible, odor free, washable and DWR, these are tough to beat and well worth the price
Tested this blanket the other night while backpacking in the Shenandoah Valley and it worked great! Stayed warm throughout the night even in the midst of high winds. Highly recommend it.
I am so pleased with this purchase, that I ended up buying a second Rumpl! It packs down so small in its stuff sack, making it perfect for travel - it's also easily used on a plane, which was awesome. I love the color, and am definitely going to budget for a 2p Rumpl soon!
I haven't loved a blanket this much since I was 5. Lightweight, portable, and comfortable. The fabric is deliciously silky. The baja fade design is gorgeous.
Soft, stuffs small into a little bag, but don’t rely on this as your primary blanket if it’s cold. I got the solid color to save money.
This is a great quilt that is incredibly warm, soft tot he touch and light weight.
I was so excited about the Rumpl blanket I got for Christmas. I'd wanted one for months. Unfortunately, less than a week later, it's full of holes just from my dogs jumping on and off my bed. Very disappointed.
Best down blanket I have ever owned. Light weight, but warm.
