I'm a beginning climber so I don't know a whole lot about shoes but from what I've experienced in the few months I've worn these is great! They feel like really high quality shoes, they fit me so perfectly, tight enough to give me plenty of power but they aren't painful!! I honest would be surprised if I don't buy more from Black Diamond! I appreciate the high quality workmanship! Thanks Black Diamond!!
Had this shoe for about 6 months (blew out the side, totally my fault). It is super comfortable ONCE IT BREAKS IN, since it’s unlined leather it stretches, go at least a half size down. It was painful at first but after a month I then they fit like a glove and can be tightened down with the laces if they stretch more. Love them.

I have three pairs of climbing shoes and these are by far my favorite for all-day wear. I feel confident on my feet and they are by far the most comfortable. I have had them for almost a year now and they have held up much better than my Oxygyms.
I bought these 4 months ago for multi-pitch and long wear. I have been thrilled with durability and performance. Exactly what you want for an all around shoe!
These shoes are great for a beginner climber. They are so comfortable, with great support and grip!
