I love these shoes. They encourage me to run with proper form, and I also wear them when on my feet all day at work Home Depot.
Although these shoes were comfortable and fit well, they are the worst "trail-running" shoes I've ever worn, and I returned them as soon as I got back home. (I'd been out of the country for > 6 months just after the purchase.)
I haven’t used them to run yet but they are very comfortable to walk it. I especially love the broad front which helps me as my feet are broad. The convenience of a slip on is an added plus
I bought these for my wife who is a zero drop style shoe runner. She’s had a problem staying in the same shoe over the years as a couple of her favorites keep changing the fit. I bought these expecting her not to like them but she raves about the comfort and fit every time she runs in them. So I bought her 2 more pairs so she’s got backups in case they change the style again. Please don’t!!!! I’ll keep buying them if you keep
I bought these for my wife hoping they’d fit well. Every time she finds a good 0 drop runner she likes they stop making them. She also has a hard time with comfortable fit. So I gave these a shot. You should have seen her face when she put them on. It was a beautiful thing. She was so happy and still is I bought her three more pair. All of the colors. Thanks Merrell and don’t change a thing about these shoes
I bought these shoes back in December. I use them for everything- hiking, running, crossfit, and as just an everyday shoe. I found that they are comfortable but I do like normal laces better. The only problem I had with them is that they stretched out long ways a lot. They fit perfectly when I got them and now probably have an extra 2 inches in the toe so buying new shoes again but going to pass on these.
I have a wide forefoot and narrow heel, as do many women, and these are wide all around. I can't tighten them enough to stay on my heels. The lacing system doesn't allow for much customization. Otherwise they seem like very nice minimalist shoes - light, vibram soles - and I'm sorry they don't fit. I wish Merrell would bring back that 1st gen minimalist shoe.
I absolutely love all of the other Merrell Barefoot shoes. I have many pairs. These were completely different from the rest. The toe bed is very wide and the knit material doesn't offer any support at all. I use the barefoot shoes for lifting and in these, my feet slip around and don't feel secure no matter how much I tighten them. I plan on returning them.
Second pair of these knit running shoes. Well, I don't run but I walk. (-:
I’m in my mid sixties but am still very active in running and walking. These shoes provide great support, plenty of room in the toe area, lightweight, and easy to care for. I have 3 pairs so I won’t be without when the time comes that they are discontinued/replaced by a new model!
Picked up theses shoe with the thought I may return them, but after walking around in them for 5 mins knew I’d keep them. If you hate wearing socks theses are the shoes for you. Light and comfy, great shoes to run errands in!!
Good comfort, lots of room for grumpy toes, support. I'm using them as an all around shoe, subtle enough to wear to work on casual days.
Love them. I run 2-3 miles every morning on a treadmill. They go on easily, were true to size and very comfortable.
Absolutely love these shoes! Tougher and more comfortable than I expected. I want two more pairs!
