The North Face - ThermoBall Insulated Hoodie - Women's

Category: Women's Jackets

I was debating spending so much money for a nice winter jacket but I could not be happier that I did! I have worn this hiking, walking the dogs, and for all around causal use- it is the best! It is extremely thin and feels like you're wearing nothing but keeps you nice and warm. For example, when it is 15 outside I can get away with just a long sleeve underneath for an hour walk with the dogs.

This is jacket is my new favorite jacket. I bought it because I needed a midweight/fall jacket and I'm almost going to be disappointed to switch to my winter jacket when the time comes because I love this one so much. It is very light weight, but surprisingly warm, with good wind protection, and mild rain protection for light rain days (would not wear in heavy rain). I would say I have been wearing it in the 30-50 degree range to great success, but definitely not for colder than that. Elastic at the wrists hold the jacket in place well, but is not obnoxiously tight at all. I also appreciate the way North Face fits my body better than Patagonia as a larger chested woman. The fabric is also not delicate, I do not worry about it ripping when i brush against something. This is the most expensive piece of clothing I've bought and it was 100% worth every penny, looking forward to it lasting me for many years.

I ordered this in size medium, Matte Black. I have owned many TNF jackets and always worn a size medium. For some reason this jacket was tight across the shoulders and snugger than I like in the torso. I'm 5'7" and weigh 140 lbs, average build. I was so surprised the medium didn't fit I checked the tag to make sure they didn't accidentally send me a small. Anyway, a cute jacket, but I also believe it runs small. I'm returning. So sad!!!

I love the jacket. It looks good, it is very light, and I had it on at 35 degree Fahrenheit without getting cold.

I can‘t wait to bring this to a oversee trip. The slim fit is great yet there is room in the arm and chest area. I am 5 ft 117 and 32ddd and bought S
