Are there armpit zips in this jacket? I have a North Face shell jacket "waterproof" with pit zips (kind of like them lol).... while hiking in Scotland, I learned the jacket may be waterproof but its NOT breathable and I was drenched in sweat.

This jacket doesn't have pit zips.

Can the Zeta Sl be used as top layer for snow shoeing?

Yes, as a waterproof/breathable shell, it will protect you from the wind and rain and breathe well but provide very little warmth.

Is there any polyester in this jacket? I bought pants from you and no polyester was listed but the POCKETS were polyester. I am highly allergic to polyester.

After checking with Arc'teryx, we can assure you that this jacket doesn't have any polyester.

What is the difference between the zeta FL and the zeta SL?

The SL indicates the jacket is Super Light, while FL is Fast and Light. The FL is actually 3 ounces lighter and it saves that weight by using elastic at the sleeve cuffs and the waist hem, eliminating the hook and loop adjustment at the cuffs and a drawstring at the hem.

Does this jacket have inside pockets, two-way zipper, and underarm vents?

No, this jacket features two hand pockets with zippers. It does not have pit zips, or a two way front zipper.

What is the fifference between the Arc’teryx Zeta SL women’s rain jacket and the Arc’teryx Beta SL rain jacket?

Awesome question! The Zeta SL is designed to be lighter and more packable than the Beta SL. However, you will find an increase in durability on the Beta SL due to the difference in face fabric. These factors make the Beta SL better for all-around use as compared to the Zeta SL which is more specifically designed for hiking. You will also find the Zeta SL to have a trimmer fit and to be slightly longer than the Beta SL.
