I've taken these out on a couple of trail runs so far and have found them to be great for my long narrow foot shape (I know shoes can be such a specific thing!). I like how the burrito tongue wraps around my foot so it feels extremely secure; a comforting foot hug if you will. I also really enjoy the grippy bottoms, I felt totally confident that I was not about to bite it when running down steep terrain. The arch support is small; one could always add an insole if you like having that. The cushion is perfectly sufficient without weighing the shoe down, they feel quite light on foot. They do run pretty large, I normally wear 9.5's in Merrell's and had to return that size. The 9 are still entirely roomy, I decided to stick with it but possibly could've even gone down a half size more. Again, shoes are a very particular thing, but I think for the right foot these are fantastic trail running shoes!
At first I liked these and even took it for a walk. Good that I did. Lacing system seems genius at first glance but will not fit everybody. I can feel a lacing ring on one side and it could be painful on a long hike/run.
This shoes is great for hiking. light and durable. it also runs true to size with a little extra room. it is a great buy if you're looking for comfort and durability.
