The vibration for the alerts is really so light as to be imperceptible. You truly have to use the audible beeps. This was the main dealbreaker. Other issues: I place a call (from my iPhone 8). I quickly disabled both. I really wanted this product for the interval timer, which I use throughout the day for little exercises for physical therapy. It's a bit cumbersome to load the interval timer as you have to scroll and click through a few times and I wanted something easier access.
I really wanted to love this. I've worn it for the last 5 days and now I have pain from my wrist to my elbow and a red mark where it sits most often. I am not wearing it tightly. It is able to slide up and down my wrist, as instructed in the directions.
I was a bit unsure of buying this since I usually don't even wear a watch. It's very comfortable given how slim it is. And I use it much more extensively than I thought I would. The step tracker is great. I'm not sure if it's perfectly accurate since I have not tried to verify it. But it's pretty close, and enables me to more or less stay consistent across days. Same for the heart rate monitor: it does a pretty good job of showing me how hard I've worked in one workout (eg running) vs. another (exericse bike). I also like that the time will show up fairly unobtrusively but visibly in places like movie theaters, concert halls, etc, so it winds up being a great watch as well. I'm very glad I purchased this. And it was nice purchasing from REI knowing that if I happened to get a lemon (which, knock on wood, it seems like I haven't), I had REI to help me out.
Can't get this set up. I had Fitbit before and it stopped working in 2016. Waited until now to try their products again. What's with these. Why don't they set up and sync correctly. Such of waste of time and money. I need to find another brand of step tracker. It is pretty, although.
Got my Fitbit on Tuesday last week, here's my experience so far:
The Inspire HR does almost everything I was looking for, and the app is great. This is my third fitness band: upgraded to get HR and then replace another brand that wasn't water-resistant. So far, so good with the Fitbit.
BETWEEN GOOGLE AND FITBIT YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE. QUIT WHILE YOU ARE AHEAD. DONT BUY A FITBIT AND STAY AWAY FROM GOOGLE. MAKES YOU INSTALL EVERYTHING AND THEN DOESN'T WORK ANYWAY.
Does this device only transfer information (e.g. sleep tracking) to a mobile phone, or can it also transfer the records to my laptop computer, as does my Charge HR?
Ahyan
My Fitbit only was used less than two weeks but I found it doesn’t show the steps except time. Is any reason?
