Love this jacket! Needed something waterproof, breathable, easy to move in that was very practical and stylish. Such a light weight jacket with SO many useful pockets. Really keeps you dry and warm. Also, is very cute and slimming. I wear this in Wisconsin and is great in every season. Perfect for rain and has visor good to keep wind and water off your face. Best investment I ever made.
Like fitted-styling without being too snug (I am a size 14, and always purchase XL in Columbia coats and fleece tops), like nylon-type lining so clothes do not stick as in fleece-lined jackets, especially sleeves. Anticipate coat being warm...here's hoping cozy lining blocks winds as well.
When I tried this jacket on in-store in a bigger size, it seemed to be warm, but when I got my online order in my size, the insulation in the arms felt thinner. I’ve worn it a few times and it was not that warm. I’m a cold natured person and this jacket disappointed me especially with all the good reviews on how warm it is. Order up a size if you think you’ll need the extra insulation underneath. I’m 5’2 140 lbs and ordered a medium. Wish I had gotten the large.
I think I bought this for around $130 and it has been worth it! I wear this skiing in CO, and on my coldest day (5-deg F high) it kept my core warm with one thermal base layer and one fleece on underneath, to the point that I was hot when in the sun. On warmer days, I wear this with a base layer and am plenty warm. The snow skirt works, and I like the thumb holes. There are enough pockets for a cliff bar, sandwich, cliff blocks, my phone, and credit card.
Wore for the 1st time on a snowshoe trip. Got drenched right thru to the bone from the rain. I would recommend spraying it i with water protection first before trying it out in the rain. I bought this because it said waterproof. Very disappointed since it was anything but.
Truly a ski jacket...plenty of pockets, powder skirt, goggle strap, adjustable bottom and Omni lining. Haven’t worn it on the slopes yet but was warm and kept me dry hiking in snow storm at RMNP. Good length..drop back. I’m 5’8”, 148 lbs 38/30/40...fit perfectly with 2 light base layers. I’d size up if you want to wear heavier fleece or sweater. Great jacket.
Took on my recent ski trip. Layered an insulated tee and my fleece in single to 20 degree weather. Kept my core perfectly warm. Plenty of pockets for gloves, pass and extras.
