The bag was massive on my Womens 50 L bag. There was so much extra room that I didn’t end up using it.
I fly a lot and always with my Gregory trekking pack. This shell has saved my pack all of the tears and scuffs I see other packs bearing at baggage claim.
I like the idea of this as opposed to getting my backpack plastic wrapped at the airport but it’s really only good for putting your backpack in right before you hand it over to be checked in. Walking with my backpack in it (or anything else) was extremely awkward (like all other reviews had mentioned however, there aren’t a lot of other options either).
This fit a full Osprey Ariel 55 better than the recommended medium size duffel.
