Fits me perfect! I'm 5'2" and approximately 100lbs. For a petite woman with a 17.5" torso it's been a struggle to find a bag that fits me in the shoulders and waist. I love this bag!
I am a small woman and was pointed in the direction to this backpack. I like how there are a lot of adjustments that can be made to make it fit. However, it is far too small to take on longer backpacking trips. There is not much cushioning on the hips. It is perfect for kids, however it is not a keeper for me.
this was recommended for my friend on her 1st camp trip and the left strap broke less than a mile into the hike. 1.5mi after tying the other strap in the other side broke off.
Even though this is technically a "youth" pack, I got sized in store by an REI expert and they recommended me (a 24-year-old woman) this youth pack because I have a very short torso (I'm 5'0"). I found it to be perfect for my body height/type. With the straps properly adjusted, all the weight went on my hips and not on my back. The rain cover is an added bonus!
I have an 11 yes old starting boy scouts, looked online to read up on backpacks and suggestions. This is a great name brand, design and quality. He’s only used it a few times but no complaints and we like that it’s adjustable and lightweight. We’re glad we got it. Also it comes with its own rain fly which is nice as that’s one less thing we have to purchase.
My 12 year old son loves the pack. Great features and great fit. He crushed 10 miles a day wearing it.
Bought this for my skinny 12-year old scout, and it's covering all the bases just fine so far. Plenty of room to grow into it.
My son is a boy scout and this is his first pack. The people were nice fitting him and made sure he understood how and where on his back the pack should be placed. He could fit everything he need in it and was just enough.
Got this for my son who is 12, and it is very adjustable. Lightweight, and with the raincover kept everything dry in several downpours. Much better than my (very) old pack.
