True to size and designed to keep you warm and dry on wet winter days, with the ability to shed layers as spring weather sneaks into the short ever changing days.
Good for commuting to work and for outdoor activities.
I bought this coat for a ski vacation in Breckenridge, CO and was very happy with it. Plenty of pockets, the inner insulating layer is SO warm with long thumb hole sleeves which fit beautifully. The outer layer really kept out the wind, and the dark color felt great on the sunny slopes. Also, a HUGE bonus, the inner layer has PIT ZIPS too!! I only wish the hood could be tucked.
All the pockets are great for stashing small items I want to carry, and I like the options to wear the inner and outer jackets separately from one another as well as together. It’s very easy to separate them and put them back together too.
I just took the jacket up to Anchorage for Fur Rendezvous. I just used the liner and it was pretty warm. Before taking it up I washed it, but left the red liner in place, washing the two pieces together. I suspect this is what caused some weird staining on the edges of the red inner jacket.
I love the coat however it was too large for me. I got it as a gift and I did return it but they didn't have another one so I will check later but all around a good coat
If it’s snows and you’re wearing this jacket, you’re out of luck - hood doesn’t fit over helmets.
Love this jacket. It is three coats in one. Lots of pockets, great zippers, kept me very warm.

Is the hood helmet-compatible for skiing or snowboarding?
This hood is adjustable but not helmet compatible.
